    Student Centre

    International student are required to have student to apply for a student visa to study in Malaysia. UTM’s International Student Centre (ISC) assist international student for visa and immigration. Visa requirement are subject to change from time to time. For the most up-to-date information , student should consult to immigration Department atwww.imi.gov.my or ISC’s website atwww.utm.my/international-students

    Among other services provides by ISC include housing and hostel , arrival arrangement , orientation , insurance and medical card , international student society and extra activities.

    Citizens of Malaysia
    1.2 Age not exceeding 35 years on January 1, 2013
    1.3 a) have received an offer to pursue a Ph.D. program at the University of Technology Malaysia
    b) As the first stage of pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Technology Malaysia

    1.4 QUALIFICATION
    Achieve at least a 3.5 and above grade level undergraduate from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) or any other recognized university.
    Reach at least Band 5 in MUET exam Bahasa Inggeris
    Capable of mastering the Malay language and English well

    1.5 OTHER REQUIREMENTS
